Sat, April 29, 2017 - Essex Open Triples
Held our first Triples club tournament at ECLBC in beautiful 80 degree weather with 16 club members.
Congratulations to the winners of the Triples tournament: Veronica Sum, Les Winter and Sam Johnson, who played a shorten final against runner-up winners: Evan Wolfendon, an 11-year old novice and is grandson to the skip, Michele Arculli and Maurice Lafond. Evan played great, handled the pressure well and will one day be the future of our sport!
Sun, May 7, 2017 - President's Day Open Pairs
Congratulations to Michele Arculli and Duncan Farrell for winning the ECLBC President's Pairs today against runner-up winners, Veronica Sum and Bill Borowitz (Annette Selvaggio Borowitz). It was an exciting final for both teams until the last two ends when Arculli & Farrell came back strong to win it. Thanks to all 12 club members that participated today with the weather being so finicky.
